FAQ:

Who is it for?

Dermapen medical microneedling is suitable for men and women with lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, enlarged pores, acne, scars, puffiness and dark circles under the eyes, pigmentation and discolouration, skin texture, stretch marks, or cellulite.

What is the treatment?

Dermapen fractional microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, involves the repetitive puncturing of the skin using tiny, sterilized microneedles. The procedure is carried out under aseptic conditions. A variety of actives is used adjunctively depending on the indication.

How does the treatment work?

The theory behind microneedling is that by making these tiny holes spaced apart in a given area of the skin (aka creating a controlled skin injury), the body will respond by sending collagen and elastin to heal the “injured” area.
